The Reboot Retreat was a really well-rounded experience for me. It had a little bit of everything but a lot of thought behind each thing. It was a really well curated experience. I want to say it was “different” but that doesn’t do it justice. It was SPECIAL. Very special. it stands out in my memories which I will cherish and use for years and years to come. Irina is a fantastic host. I went on the retreat to Cambodia because at first I just wanted to go to Cambodia. But in the future I’d go anywhere Irina chose to do it because I put a lot of faith in the experiences – “Edventures” – she creates.

Hands down the best retreat I’ve ever experienced! Irina, Gillian, and The Green Leaf Boutique put so much effort into caring for every single detail that I don’t believe I could have seen Siem Reap in a better way. They delivered so much more than I ever expected and left me with such a huge amount of appreciation. The daily activities were incredibly fun and educational, the meals were deliciously healthy and fresh, the morning yoga the perfect beginning to each day, the accommodations were clean and beautiful, the staff were SO helpful and nice – they truly went the extra mile. I don’t even know if I’m hitting every detail – but what I will say is that a retreat by Holistic Edventures is surely one to add to your bucket list!!!

I am only too grateful for the recent retreat Irina and Co facilitated in Seim Reap Cambodia. I have spent a lot of time retreating in SE Asia and I can honestly say this was the most powerful week of all.
Whilst the cost of a retreat never deters me, I am shocked how great value this was for money. The accommodation, food, yoga, reiki, workshops and many trips was more than I ever expected upon arrival.
For me the people – guests make these places what they are. When you add such kind, talented, non ego driven hosts into the mix, you can’t fail to thrive.
I thrived because of the platform created to do so by Irina who went beyond the call of duty to enhance our experience. I have never been on a retreat where the food was catered to my needs.
The yoga was world class and being able to jump in the pool at any time, given the heat, was just divine.
The trips allowed us to experience the very roots of Seim Reap and Cambodia for that matter. I learned so much about life, others and myself.
The experience was very special on many levels but having time spent at the orphanage was humbling to say the least. We can all do so much more to help others who we perceive to be less wealthy but they may argue they have greater wealth, if it’s the hearts not wallet to what we refer to.
I cannot praise every minute of every day sufficiently by a shortly review. I will of course be back.
Thank you Holistic Edventures and may you continue to leave a trace of smiles with the great work you do.
Special mention to Amir of GreenLeaf Boutique. Inspiring person, fab host, awesome facilities and generally top dude.
Thank you guys X

The Reboot Retreat in Cambodia hosted by Holistic Edventures was the best vacation I’ve had to date. It was filled with epic adventures, heart-filled moments, and tons of new holistic information for your health. The best part was interacting with the locals and gaining new insight on authentic Cambodian lifestyle, an opportunity I never would’ve otherwise had if it weren’t for the connections the retreat provided us with. It was truly an experience I will never forget.

In all honesty when I signed up for this retreat I thought I was simply going to have a great vacation, or perhaps a good story to tell my friends about when I got back. I saw it as a great opportunity to unplug from the noise of the ostracizing fast-paced community of North-America. The stress of the day to day responsibilities had gotten to be too much, and I found myself in need of a break.
Little did I know at the time, but this choice, this on-the-spot decision to take a leap of faith would end up being the best trip of my life. It wasn’t just about the sightseeing, the relaxation or the food, it was about unleashing fears I didn’t know I had, stepping outside of my comfort zone and changing the routines that drowned and belittled my peace of mind.
I arrived at the Green Leaf Boutique alone, a stranger to everyone there, and I left with friendships that will last a lifetime. When that precious bell rang at 5 am in the mornings, for our daily yoga sessions, we all felt a bond of connection to one another. I found it tough at first, I mean who am I kidding, I found it tough every day, but this experience pushed me to be better, to do better. As tough as I found it at times, I got to change my ways, and as a result, I came out of it a changed person.
It’s not every day that you get to visit people’s homes while travelling. It’s not every day that you get to taste the culture of the place by joining the locals in helping their community develop. How often do you get to give back, to see little orphan children jump at the mere idea of being in your presence? Sometimes all we need to do is show up. Sometimes all we need to do is take a chance.
My experience in Cambodia was phenomenal. The memories I have are incredible. The staff at the non-profit hotel was and is outstanding. The cook, despite our clean eating regiment, was superb. God bless her delicious banana pancakes. The rest of the crew was hilarious. Their little smiles, quirks, and cute Cambodian jokes made the experience even more enjoyable. They were all same-same but different! 
A big thank you to Irina and Amir. You guys did an exceptional job at planning this trip. I am sure that I am not alone when I say that you played a big role in our personal growth journeys. I am very grateful that I got to meet you, and I am lucky to now have you as my friends.
And thank you everyone for being a part of this great adventure with me! I miss you all and I hope we get to do this again someday! I may sound corny, but given the opportunity, I would do it all over again! Be good, be safe, but dare to dream big! (And don’t forget to tongue scrape!)
Namaste!
